Different Type Of Hair Textures

Hair Type: 4C Coily

Hair that is tightly coiled. Almost no visible defined kink pattern, unless seen from up close. Has more of a very tight "o"-shaped pattern.


Hair Type: 4B Coily

Hair that is tightly coiled. Little less defined kink pattern. Has more of a "Z"-shaped pattern.


Hair Type: 4A Coily

Hair that is tightly coiled. Has a very defined "o"-shaped pattern.


Hair Type: 3C Curly

Hair that is tight curls in corkscrews. The curls are very tightly curled.


Hair Type: 3B Curly

Hair that has a medium amount of space in the curls. This hair type may have a combination of texture.


Hair Type: 3A Curly

Hair that is thick and full of loose curls. Hair tends to be frizzy but has a defined curl pattern. This hair type may have a combination of texture.


Hair Type: 2C Wavy

This hair texture has wider wavy curls. This hair type tends to be frizzy.


Hair Type: 2B Wavy

Hair texture that has defined waves. This hair type has more of a defined "S" pattern and tends to be frizzy.


Hair Type: 2A Wavy

Hair texture consisting of loose waves. This hair type has more of a defined "S" pattern and tends to sticks close to the head.


Hair Type: 1C Straight

This hair type is straight but is full of volume. It is hard to curl and sticks close to the head.


Hair Type: 1B Straight

This hair type is bone straight and sticks close to the head.


Hair Type: 1A Straight

This hair type is very hard to hold a curl, tends to be oily and hard to damage.
